A few days after Google released its latest iteration of its search engine, its first ever mobile ad, Kathmandue has become the most popular city in the world to learn the technology, according to a report by the search engine’s parent company.
The report, released on Thursday, shows that Kathmandus traffic rose by 2.5% to 3.7 million visits in April and July.
Google said the increase in traffic was due to the adoption of the search engines mobile apps, which are available in almost all cities in Nepal.
The company said it had also seen the growth in its native ads in the country.
In a similar report published on Monday, the tech giant said that Google AdSense has increased its reach in Kathnambu by 30% to 1.7 billion visits a month.
